Active Graphics is Randy James. A highly motivated graphic designer who has created, produced, and developed print and multimedia products through this banner since 1996. Randy has an extensive background in print production for products such as brochures, posters, mailers, stationary, and packaging. With the introduction and rapid advancement of the world wide web as a communications tool, Randy has embraced the technologies that drive it. Producing everything from home page designs to fully functional web sites, Flash multimedia products and print brochures.
Before Active Graphics
Randy was in charge of art production for a leading print manufacturer that saw him producing client artwork for designs have been used in advertisements and communications. After completing an education in communication design, Randy went on to work at graphic studios in the Greater Toronto Area honing his skills and developing a greater and greater portfolio of experiences until 1996 when he set out on his own.

Randy has maintained a reputation for being able to take a concept and independently actuate a product that can then be fine-tuned and sculpted to its completion with the guidance and consultation of the client. Randy is very creative and is driven to make an idea a reality. On time, and on budget.
The Tools of the Trade
Active Graphics incorporates the latest technologies that relate to the printing industry and to the technologies sector with programs like Quark Xpress for digital publishing, Adobe GoLive for web publishing, and Macromedia Flash for multimedia publishing. Randy is careful to coordinate the product with the end result by consulting with printers, publishers, and clients making sure to understand the outcome of a project, then managing the source files to that end. It makes production efficient and it makes clients proud.
